I had an enjoyable month-long stay at Mare Playa Del Carmen, with highlights being the spacious rooms and friendly staff. However, the noise from the street and nearby dogs was quite bothersome, especially for a light sleeper like me. The apartment was lovely and conveniently located close to 5th Avenue, making it easy to explore food and nightlife.
